About Us

Most Wanted Electrical was founded by Ralph LaClair in 2012. Ralph started his electrical career as an Electrician’s Mate in the U.S. Navy working in the early 80’s on electrical/electronic systems on shipboard equipment and components. After serving in the U.S. Navy Ralph eventually moved on to work for the Department of Defense at the Naval Base as an electrician, later on throughout his career he was transferred to the Shipyard. While in that tenure he was promoted to electrical inspector and eventually to an Electrical Engineer Technician. During this time in his career Ralph’s ambition was to expand his electrical experience and training. This desire led him to obtain his electrical and contractor licenses in order to start his own business working with residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems.

Most Wanted Electrical specializes in trouble shooting and repair, installation, design, modifications of residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems. We are a Certified Electrical Contractor in the State of Virginia. Our goal is to perform high quality work as we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations.

Most Wanted Electrical holds a state certified master electrician license and a class “B” electrical contractor’s license. With over 30 years of experience and knowledge in commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems and equipment, we possess thorough knowledge of all local, state and national electrical codes. Our extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance, installation, modification, troubleshooting and repair of electrical/electronic systems and components include but are not limited to:

What services do you provide?

All industrial, commercial and residential electrical needs. Our company has highly qualified and trained personnel to handle any electrical needs you may have. We provide all residential electrical work including, but not limited to generator installations (automatic and manual), remodels, custom homes, hot tubs, indoor and outdoor lighting.

What are your office hours?

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. We are also open on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm for your convenience.

 Does your company offer services after hours and weekends?

Yes, our company offers 24 hour 7 day services emergency services.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes you can cancel your appointment for no additional fee. We just ask that you provide a 24 hour notice, as cancellations affect the scheduling not only of your appointment, but of others throughout the day.

Are the parts and labor warrantied? For how long?

All parts that we furnish and services have a one-year warranty. All equipment/fixtures that the owner provides such as light fixtures, fans are not covered, If you purchase a piece of equipment and it fails due to equipment malfunction, the customer is responsible for labor to replace and re install new fixtures.

What if I am not satisfied with my service?

We always work with our customers to provide the best possible service and an end product that you are satisfied with. If there is any part of your service that you are unsatisfied with, please advise your project manager so the issue can be resolved.

Is there a charge for an on-site estimate?

We do all on-site estimates free of charge within a 25 mile radius from our headquarters. Anything outside of this radius is subject to a service call truck charge. This fee will be applied to and deducted from the total estimate if customer accepts our company’s proposal for services.

How much electrical work should I attempt on my own?

For the safety of your home and family, all electrical work should be done by a qualified professional.
